Consular Processing is a service that aids individuals residing outside the U.S. who aspire to immigrate. The process involves several steps. First, a nonimmigrant or immigrant visa application is submitted requisite government agency, such as USCIS. This requires careful completion of necessary forms and gathering of supporting documents. The individual may have to attend a medical examination to ensure they meet required health standards. The applicant then is scheduled a visa interview with a consular officer who assesses the individual’s eligibility for the visa.
